My involvement in the fitness industry for a few years has opened my eyes to few things. First, I’ve developed a unique understanding and respect for exercise and the benefits that it can bring toward one’s life.
I’ve witnessed first hand how exercise can truly change a person’s life. I’ve seen people come into the gym in a state of depression because of how they look and feel and within a few months, they are virtually transformed.
As a matter of fact, when I think about it I’ve never heard a person have anything negative to say about exercising after they’ve tried it. The only time I hear something negative and something related to exercise is when people stop doing it.
It seems as though the word about the benefits of exercise is traveling faster and faster these days, even among communities where things like fitness and exercise aren’t usually talked about.
This morning, I received my new issue of Money magazine in the mail. This is the magazine by CNN structured to provide consumers with information on effectively managing their finances.
On page 28 of the magazine there is an article that speaks about things a person can spend their money on that will bring them happiness. The final piece of advice reads, “If you’re at a loss do something physical. The reaction the body has to exercise is similar to the one it has to excitement. Your muscles relax. Your pulse rises. Endorphins kick in. Spending $75 a month on a gym membership and actually using it won’t just get you in shape, it’ll make you happier.”
This is featured in a magazine about finance, not fitness. It’s good to see that people are finally starting to realize how important exercise is, especially for achieving success.
Another thing I’ve learned from the fitness industry is which exercise programs really work and who people trust.
Tom Venuto is a name regarded by many in this game as the “Best of the Best”.
Aside from his astounding amount of discipline and dedication, Tom’s mind is like every trusted piece of valued fitness information encapsulated in one unique resource.
Tom has now put all of that invaluable information into his e-book, “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle” which I would recommend to anyone with a desire to achieve a better life.
